Description

This antique wooden box was repurposed into an ideal jewelry/trinket box. I added nice colorful feet and a nice metal chain to hold the lid nicely. It also has red velvet ring inserts inside. The box was sprayed with a glossy sealer to give it an elegant appearance. La Catrina is a Mexican folkloric character from the famous holiday the “Day of the Dead” on st and 2nd of November in Mexico, and many people celebrate and remember their beloved ones who passed away. People build and decorate nice altars with cempasuchil flowers, which is a yellow orange flower with a nice and unique aroma that blooms on November only. People decorate the altars with candles, flowers, papel picado, and favorite food of the people who passed away, especially if they were family members.
Note: Jewelry is not included.
