During the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066, the Normans may have taken some of the Great Horses from Europe across the English Channel and bred them with native Horses. Eventually, a distinct type evolved that was known as the Old English Black Horse.

Description: Finished artwork. Hiking has always been one of my favorite activities, especially in desert areas where there are many succulent plants and flagstones. The feeling of warm weather inspires me to think about time and how short the life of the human being is and everything that remains in this world rolling until it finally comes to an end.
