I am very excited because I just finished this beautiful chest made of pinewood, and I painted some beautiful sunflowers and brimstone butterflies. This box was sanded, and we assembled beautiful feet, and the box has been already varnished to protect it from any scratches and discoloration. This box dates from the early 1900s. It's been through history, and that is what it makes it very special.

$700.00This is an antique walnut wood chest/box that I repurposed into a trinket box. I had to sand it off, and then I handpainted the design of the phoenix over the box with acrylic paint. Then, the box was varnished to protect it from external debris. The feet and the handles are made of cast iron and were professionally installed on the box. I decided to leave the inside of the box untouched to show the age of the box and to give it character.
