$1,200.00El ser humano sufre de angustias, preocupaciones, emfermadad, desesperación, y de emociones encontradas en fin. En esta obra de arte quiero expresar la fortaleza de un corazón ante los obstáculos de la vida, la pérdida de un ser querido, falta de amor, cariño y poca consideración y humanidad en la sociedad. Para mi como artista el corazón es lo primero que sentimos cuando algo no va bien y nos sentimos ahogados y atrapados en un abismo oscuro y perdidos sin socorro en un laberinto sin poder encontrar la salida. Por eso titulé mi obra como "Struggle" (Lucha). Luchar y vencer los miedos que nos agobian y no nos dejan volar más allá de lo que vemos en el horizonte. Nos sentimos atorados en la enredadera de las críticas pero al final siempre habrá una luz al final del túnel y un sol con un arcoiris al final de la tempestad. ~Victor Ferretiz

The human being suffers from anguish, worries, sickness, despair, and mixed emotions in short. In this work of art I want to express the strength of a heart in the face of life's obstacles, the loss of a loved one, lack of love, affection and little consideration and humanity in society. For me as an artist, the heart is the first thing we feel when something is not going well and we feel drowned and trapped in a dark abyss and lost without help in a maze without being able to find the exit. That's why I titled my work as "Struggle" (Struggle). Fight and overcome the fears that overwhelm us and do not let us fly beyond what we see on the horizon. We feel stuck in the vine of criticism, but in the end, there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel and a sun with a rainbow at the end of the storm. -

$7,000.00Hace un mes que empecé esta obra de arte de la Virgen de Guadalupe, lo cual requirió mucho trabajo especialmente en el detalle de sombreado, luces, líneas, y sobre todo que los colores fuesen opacos, pero poderosos. Mi inspiración empezó hace un año y medio desde que me regalaron este marco europeo antiguo que data alrededor del siglo XVIII. El marco fue abandonado y sólo se llevaron la obra de arte por muchas razones de costo de envío internacional, por el estilo y gusto del coleccionista, vaya que me tocó mucha suerte de haber recibido este hermoso regalo que me inspiró a pintar a nuestra madre morena y reina de México. Decidí dejar el marco con todos sus defectos para que mantega sus características antiguas y preserve su valor en el futuro. Esta obra de arte me a permitido hacer crecer mi fe y amor por los demás, que haya más paz y tranquilidad en la tierra, rogar por la salud de los enfermos y por los más necesitados. Que nos proteja con su manto bendito estrellado y que siempre nos ampare. Amén.

This work required the construction of a new handmade frame and was then painted fluorescent orange color. I used multicolor to create a spectrum of colors that bring happiness to the eyes of my audience. Many people love koala bears and I believe that this painting can be ideal for decorating our home. The frame was built by a creative framer, Mr. Alex Valdes. This work was inspired by the forest fire in Australia, which killed many species, especially koalas. This incident caused me a lot of sadness, and I decided to paint this work of rebirth of nature from the ashes. Someday in the future, my dream is to support species in danger of extinction and avoid these forest fires that are destroying our beautiful species of flora and fauna.

The planets, stars, and asteroids had always fascinated me since I began observing the milky way from my grandmother's garden in the night when I was in Mexico. The skies in small towns in Mexico are clearer because there is not much pollution that can prevent us from seeing these stellar scenes of the nature of the universe. The combination of relational art is an interaction of the human being and the art object, such as this fluorescent painting that glows in the dark with UV light. I painted many unique designs in each circle that brings a lot of happiness and color to our lives, well, even more joy than what is already in our hearts.

Bougainvillea flowers mean welcome in any home, butterfly signifies luck, morning glories signify the beauty of life and how short it is, the bracelet catches bad vibes and transforms them into positive energies, earrings represent the equality and recognition in both sexes, the quetzals represent the majesty of the gods, the trees represent growth, the parrot symbolizes intelligence, the pistils symbolize new souls of the future that will be heroes, the calla lilies symbolize the purity and cleanliness of the soul, the Xolo dog symbolizes fidelity and the guide from purgatory to divine glory when the human being passes away, poinsettias symbolize charm in family gatherings, jacaranda trees perfume the fields and the air with their enchanting scents of freshness, the dahlias represent forgiveness between family and friends, and in the end, the Popocatepetl volcano and the pyramids represent Mexico and your culture. The beautiful blue house was Frida's house, which is now a museum located in Coyoacan, Mexico.
